Existing waysignage at the outpatients' clinic of Academic Medical Centre (AMC) was outdated, unclear and ready for an ‘upgrade’. When analysing the existing situation it instantly became clear that outpatients’ clinics where not isolated from other buildings and that destinations were needed from and to other buildings.
Considering the number of planned future conversions, a standard signage system has been developed. Advantages of the system are that it is easy to replace and evolve.
