Communication symbols for security features on banknotes

All symbols (see PDF-file) are specially designed (by DNB/ECB) for the use on banknotes and have been successfully tested among the European public. An optimum has been found between a maximum legibility and an easy to integrate design element. A similar set of symbols can be used for leaflets, posters, screen information and other communication tools.

Two categories are in use, public features, they are: Feel-Look-Tilt. Cashier features (check with a tool), they are: Enlarge-Special Light-Filter.
An online tool has also been developed and is still in use.
